PBC Group Donates $60,000 to YMCA-YWCA in Support of Local Social Programs
PBC Group announced today that the company has donated $60,000 to the YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region (the “Y”). By donating to the Y, PBC is supporting healthy and thriving children, youth and families in our community.
PBC’s donation will be supporting the Y’s charitable mission of enriching the community and the lives of community members. This is achieved by providing local children, youth and families with healthy opportunities and focusing on offering programs and services that meet their evolving needs, such as emergency family housing, child care, summer camp, before and after school programs, housing for at-risk youth, women’s housing, health and fitness programs, language assessment services, employment and newcomer services, and much more.
PBC is proud to be in a position to support its community, especially during the last year which has proven extremely challenging for both businesses and charities alike, while community needs have only increased. PBC would also like to thank the Y for their hard work and dedication to their mission and for making our community a better place for all individuals to live and thrive.
